Paragliding

Simply defined, a paraglide is an inflatable canopy that operators can launch for soaring flight through running. Typically, a paraglide canopy is made from a material like rip stop nylon lined with Kevlar for added strength. The pilot is comfortably supported and loosely buckled into a harness which supports standing or sitting positions.

Paragliding is one of the recreational flying sports. And some people even like to go beyond the recreational sport, doing cross-country leagues, spot landing competitions, aero-acrobatic manoeuvres and more. Competitive flying on the other hand requires more skills to be able to execute such moves.

A paraglide is easy to launch and land, what is good about it is because of its smaller size, it is easy to transport without much difficulty. Paragliding has been viewed as the one of the high-risk sport, with great possibilities getting injured.

And if you are interested to learn some skills on this type of extreme sport, there are popular paragliding regions that have a number of schools, registered and legally organized by national associations.
